Mănăşturu Românesc
Romania 2014 |
Monochrome outfit colors highlights the green landscape of Mănăşturu Românesc a small hungarian-romanian village, about 50 minutes drive away from the centre of Cluj-Napoca. This 50 minute drives represent the 50 years traveling back in time. Apples really grew beside the kitchen windows there for us to pick and keep the doctor away and not as a second life medium on a desk or portable. The fresh water source of transalvania just runs at your backyard. Nature is mans best friend. Some houses are renovated, financed by the growing children that went to the big city to work. Indoor toilets, with tiles but the outdoor wooden build native toilets was still best loved. Modernity does not kill traditions but in fact its just a second option.
